How To: Dress for Rainy Spring Days

Hello!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday! I can’t believe it’s May already. Doesn’t it feel like time is going by so quickly? It’s hard to believe that I’ll be graduating soon, but that’s a post for another time! May calls for beautiful flowers and some rain as well and it can be difficult to dress for the weather that the month brings. Today for example, it’s pretty humid and has been rainy all day. Whenever it rains, especially during the spring or summer, I like to wear bright colors or prints. Here’s what I wore:

Raincoat-Zara

Tunic- Allen B. for Target

Jeans-Forever21

Shoes-Forever21

Watch: Anne Klein

Blush and Sequins

When I saw this sheer dress I instantly thought about the glam that came with the 1940s. The sequins and blush color really make this dress stand out. I put a black slip under it (although) I can’t wait to pair it with other colored slips) and then put this burgundy collared shirt with it. This trench coat from Zara brought it all together.

Dress: Forever21

Shirt: Forever21

Tights: Target

Trench coat: Zara

Shoes: Old Navy

Vest: thrift store find

Restyled Jumpsuit

This jumpsuit is one of my staples for Spring and Summer but I wanted to also wear it as a transition piece for Fall so I put a plain white-tee under it. We were walking downtown and I wanted to be comfortable!

Shirt: Old Navy

Jumpsuit: Forever21

Trench coat: Zara

Hat: Old Navy

Shoes: Christian Siriano for Payless
