I’ve always loved New Year’s Eve. It’s something about that night that makes me think of the possibilities of a new year. I’m truly excited about 2016! I brought in the new year with my husband. Sometimes we celebrate with our friends but with me getting sick last year, we really wanted to celebrate with just the two of us. I love how this plaid shirt gives a casual feel to these sequined leggings. Here’s what I wore:

With Christmas shopping done, I felt like deserved an award. So I went out to get some ice cream! The weather here is so weird right now and it’s actually pretty warm for December, which means it’s perfect weather for a stroll.
One of the reasons I love boyfriend jeans is because they are so versatile! I blogged a look with them in October. I paired these jeans with a sweater and boots but I love mixing these jeans with the glamourous effect that comes from sequins too.

When I saw this sheer dress I instantly thought about the glam that came with the 1940s. The sequins and blush color really make this dress stand out. I put a black slip under it (although) I can’t wait to pair it with other colored slips) and then put this burgundy collared shirt with it. This trench coat from Zara brought it all together.
