Yes, I know Easter was yesterday but I wasn’t able to blog. I spent my day with my husband. We went to church and then dinner. It was a low-key Easter for us but it’s one that I needed. Easter is a great day to be reminded of hope. It’s a day that reminds me no matter what I’m facing, there’s always the presence of victory in the near future. Whatever you’re facing today, know that you are loved and victory is in your near future! I hope you enjoyed Easter with people you love.
I love this midi-skirt I found. The color adds just enough pop to any outfit. Here’s what I wore:
Skirt: New York & Company
Shirt: Forever 21
P.S.- My face is still swollen from getting braces.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve always loved this holiday. Whether you are single or in a relationship, it’s a day that is dedicated to celebrating love. I do believe that we should always take the time to celebrate love, but today feel free to remind someone you love them by writing them a note or simply spending quality time with them. Feel free to show yourself some love too. After all, you deserve it.
Jacket: Tj Maxx
I’m so happy to be blogging my looks again! Recovery has been tough but it’s great to see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak.
It’s not officially Fall just yet but I’m kind of ready to break out my fall gear and thought this was a great transition outfit for the weather in North Carolina.
Shirt: Old Navy
Shoes: Christian Siriano for Payless
I’m going on a road trip with my husband and brother-in-law. I’m notorious for falling asleep within the first thirty minutes on road trips. It’s something about the movement of the car that gets me every time.
Shoes: Crown Vintage for DSW
