It’s hard to believe that our baby boy will be here in less than 4 weeks! We’re so excited to meet him. We’re busy making sure everything is ready for him and I’m busy trying to stay cool and comfortable. I’ve been sticking to light fabrics as best as I can. Here’s a look I out together recently. It’s pretty casual but I can’t wait to dress these pants up with a cute pair of heels or wear them with a crop top. Wearing black and white really allows you to play with different colors in your accessories. I chose to pair this look with metallic accessories but the next time, I’ll probably pair these paints with a little more color.

I’ve been busy with Queen Styles Boutique and getting everything ready for when our baby boy arrives. I needed a break! A time to just refocus and recharge my batteries. So we went to a baseball game and tried out a new restaurant. That seems to always do the trick. I’ve always loved overalls because they bring me back to my childhood. I probably had a pair in just about everything color! So this seemed like the perfect time to wear them. I really do believe that what we wear can alter our moods. Our clothing can boost our moods and make us feel different when we need it.
I decided to be really casual and paired my overalls with a stripped shirt and comfy shoes. You can wear overalls with tank tops or a basic tee. You can pair them with sneakers, sandals or a cute pair of wedges.
I hope you all have had a great weekend! On Sunday nights, I always like to prep myself for the week ahead. Sometimes, that can be a hard task though. Staying motivated and inspired can be a lot of work. I have a goal book (I’ve featured it on Snapchat before) that has photos and inspirational quotes that help to keep me inspired. As a creative person, I think it’s so important to be able to inspire yourself in order to inspire others.
I’m curious. How do you inspire yourself? Do you have a killer song you listen to? Or is it a sentimental photo you keep in your wallet. Comment below, I’d love to hear from you.

I originally wore this dress over the summer. I love the length of it and the pattern. It was easy to throw a sweater over it with some boots. Here’s the first look:

You’ve probably noticed that I am all about prints! I can’t wait to mix another print with these comfortable pants. The breeze felt so good out so we decided to explore uptown a little.

Sunday’s are for relaxing right before the week. I was relaxing until I saw a commercial for Victoria’s Secret’s Semi Annual Sale. I don’t like a lot of “fuss” when I shop, so this black and white dress was perfect.
There are a few breweries in the area that offer live music and games. It’s nice to be able to sit outside with friends and enjoying the environment…and a cold one:) Graphics are on trend this Summer and they are so much fun to wear. They create visual interest on their own, so you can we’re them by themselves or you can pair them with other colors or patterns to add even more visual interest. Here’s how I wore my Graphic dress
