I love this dress! The print is beautiful and the length makes it an easy transition piece. Transition your wardrobe from winter to spring can be challenging. My advice is to start with a dress or a skirt and you can always layer from there. I layered this tulle pink skirt under this dress to add another layer of fabric to keep me warm and to add dimension. Here are the details to what I wore to a wedding yesterday:
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Scarf: New York & Company
I’ve got a “three piece rule”that I’ve been following for a while. It’s basically a rule that states you need to add a third article of clothing to your outfit to make it more complex. That third piece can be a blazer, vest or one of my favorites: a sleeveless jacket. The third piece should make tie your outfit together. I got this sleeveless jacket on sale for just $5.50 at Tj Maxx. You can’t beat that!

I had a lot of fun answers your questions. You guys sent in some good questions for me to answer. You can watch the video here on my YouTube channel for some of the questions and answers. I also have a few other questions below that I received.
- Do you have a YouTube channel?
I just created it!
2. Do you have any advice on how to showcase your curves?
I do! You can do a couple of things if you want to showcase your curves or create the illusions of curves. Make sure you define your waist. This can be with a belt or with a skirt that hits you right where your waist line is. I would also suggest creating a longer leg line. You can easily be done by wearing heels. I’ll do a post about this soon.
3. How did you get over being bullied?
It took some time. To be honest, I still think about sometimes. My faith has helped me a lot. I realized that I don’t have to fit in or try to be someone that I’m not because God loves me for exactly who I am. Being bullied isn’t anything to be ashamed of. If anything, I’m a lot stronger because of what I went through.
4. Do you have any advice for someone who is a new blogger or thinking about starting a blog?
I haven’t been blogging for that long but I would tell anybody who is a new blogger or thinking of starting a blog to have a clear vision for your blog. Make sure that you aren’t trying to compare your blog to anyone else’s. I think it’s good to have bloggers you like, but don’t try to make your voice and what you have to say to match someone else’s. We all have a unique perspective and you should own that!
5. Who takes your photos?
I have a wonderful personal photographer…I also call him my husband 🙂
I’m doing a Q&A post this Thursday. You can comment with your question on any post on here or Instagram. You can also message me on Snapchat or Twitter with any of your questions too.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve always loved this holiday. Whether you are single or in a relationship, it’s a day that is dedicated to celebrating love. I do believe that we should always take the time to celebrate love, but today feel free to remind someone you love them by writing them a note or simply spending quality time with them. Feel free to show yourself some love too. After all, you deserve it.

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Being that the Carolina Panthers are in the Super Bowl, the energy is electric here in Charlotte, NC. We went out to grab a bite to eat and almost every person we saw was decked out in panther gear! It’s truly an exciting time for Charlotte, NC. It’s also pretty cold! I like to switch up my weekend look. Sometimes, I wear jeans, skirts, dresses or dress pants. It’s easy to think that dress pants are simply for work but you can incorporate them into a casual setting as well. The key is to compliment the dress pants with a casual pieces. This sweater and denim collard shirt really help to make these pants look more casual.
