The sun keeps playing peek-a-boo with us in the Carolinas. It’s sunny one day and then for the next three days, it’s nothing but rain! This confusing weather can be difficult to dress for. My tip is to layer! The sun was out so I wanted to show off my legs a little bit but I needed a long sleeved shirt that would balance the breeze. Rompers are awesome to layer with! It doesn’t matter what season it is. Layering in the Fall and Winter months gets fun with tights!

As the weather gets warmer it’s getting closer and closer to swimsuit season! When you’re shopping for a swimsuit, you need to keep a couple of things in mind. Here are my tips on shopping for a swimsuit
1. What’s your body type?
For example, if you’re busty you might want to shy away from bandeau tops because they probably won’t offer the support you need or if you don’t have a lot of curves, you can try swimsuits that have ruffles to add the illusion of curves. To name a few examples.
Your first instinct may be to go up a size if you’re feeling too exposed but be careful. Going up in size can also result in the fabric gaping when you are actually in the water which isn’t flattering. When you’re trying on a swimsuit and decide to go up a size, see how much of the fabric you can pinch on the side. This is usually a good indication of whether or not it’s too big.
3. Try it On!
Swimsuits can be fashionable and fun! There are so many different options to have fun with but no matter what: TRY IT ON before you buy! You may wear a size 10 but depending on the fabric, cut and designer your swimsuit size could be different. Always take the extra time to try your swimsuit on.

One thing I love about the MTV Movie Awards is celebrities usually bring the innovation. Sometimes people take fashion too seriously and forget that it’s all about expression. If you’re feeling sultry then show it. Or maybe you’re feeling sophisticated and chic…flaunt it! Last night there was a lot of color, metallics and cutouts. Here are a few looks from last night:
I purchased this shirt, skirt and necklace for under $30 at Express Outlet. Some people are against shopping at Outlet stores. I don’t see anything wrong with it at all! You can get some really good deals but you need to keep certain factors in mind.
1. Some of the clothes are from last season. This skirt is actually from their Winter 2014 collection ( which is why it was on sale for $9). This shirt is from their Fall 2014 collection and it was on sale for $5.
2. Keep in mind some of the pieces might be irregular. In other words, they may have small flaws in the way they were created. Usually it’s nothing major.
3. Some coupons are not applicable at Outlet Malls.
I wish I could go to Coachella this year. So I decided to wear my wife legged pants and floral top to make me feel a like I was apart of the festival.

Time to bring out the pastel colors…and anti-humidity products.I was going to dinner with my husband and we decided to hit a brewery afterwards so there was a lot of walking and standing. These wedges are so comfortable and offer a subtle way to mix prints 🙂
