We have been running errands and finishing up our Christmas shopping on this beautiful Sunday. I wanted to of course be comfortable but stylish too. I like to look effortless but put together at the same time. I purchased this scarf at Forever21 and absolutely it! It’s fun to wear scarves as turbans sometimes just to switch up your look. This H&M striped shirt works with this outfit because my pants and navy and navy is a neutral. When you think of prints like that, they are a lot less intimidating. This printed H&M shirt just gives this outfit the pop that it needs. The shoes were purchased at Target. Happy Sunday 🙂

Best and Worst: American Music Awards
Here are my Best and Worst from the American Music Awards! Let me know who your Best and Worst are!
Best:
I thought Kate Beckinsale looked regal wearing this white KaufmanFranco dress.
Charlie XCX looked stunning in this all black dress by Vivienne Westwood. Some stars look really uptight in black while they are at award shows but I think she looks really modern.
There were mixed reviews on Rita Ora’s yellow Zac Posen dress but I loved it! Her top knot bun makes this look so fresh, fun and perfect for this award show. That is why she is my Best!
Worst:
Zendaya has her own style (which I love) but I don’t really understand the look she was going for in this gold Georgine pantsuit and bikini top.
Jennifer Lopez is usually breathtaking on the red carpet. She has an awesome body and has great style! That’s why I was disappointed with her in this Reem Acra dress.
My Worst has to go to Hedi Klum. She has a history of killing the red carpet and I feel that she fell short this year in Versace.

Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are great to wear year round and for various occasions! I like to pair mine with stiletto heels during the colder months. When you’re looking for a jumpsuit, it’s important to find one that accentuates your waist in order to avoid looking “too boxy”. I snagged this blazer at a thrift shop and the blazer is from Forever21. These Nine West shoes sealed the deal.

When it’s Cold Out
Wearing summer dresses is another trend I like to pull of when the weather is cold. I snagged this dress at a thrift store during their Summer Blowout sale. It’s easy to just throw a sweater on top of the dress and go! Plus it’s a great way to add to your winter wardrobe. The shoes are from Shoe Dazzle. Feel free to request me on Instagram @golden_life_
Sparkle!
I don’t know about you but I’m already thinking about how to add glitz and glamour to my holiday wardrobe. It’s fun to dress sequins up or down. Either way, have fun with it! I love a sequined top with a pair of jeans. It’s so understated! Or, you can opt for a sequined dress and really go for it. Here are some photos of this trend from Glamour’s Women of the Year.

Menswear Monday: Boots Edition
Men need to keep warm too! I love a man in boots. Here are some of my favorite ways for men to pull this look off. If you’re anxious about trying this trend, start with a simple look by pairing your boots with slim fit jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket. You can add a scarf if you feel comfortable. Refer to last weeks post on men wearing scarves.
